As an ongoing project, I continuously update and improve the site, with plans to expand the projects and interests, implement a dark mode, and ensure consistent design across all pages.

mousetrap car

For the mousetrap car project, I designed and built a vehicle powered solely by the energy of a standard-sized mousetrap. The car traveled an impressive distance of 23 meters, demonstrating the effective conversion of potential energy into kinetic energy. This project involved understanding and applying principles of physics, such as energy transfer and friction reduction, to maximize the car's performance.

toothpick bridge

In the toothpick bridge project, I constructed a bridge using only round wooden toothpicks and adhesive, designed to span a 20 cm gap and support as much load as possible. My bridge held approximately 2.7 pounds per ounce, showcasing its strength-to-weight ratio. This project required careful planning and execution to ensure the bridge met all specifications and performed well under load testing.

rube goldberg machine

For the Rube Goldberg device, I created a complex contraption that performed a simple task through a series of more than 10 actions. The final action of my machine successfully raised a sign saying "Physics Rocks!" at least 25 cm. This project emphasized creativity and the application of kinetic energy principles to design a fun and educational sequence of events.
